To prove that we have the most supporters in the nation, just have a look at our crowds, and how many of our games over the last ten or so years, have been sell-outs. Most of the games that get sold out are games which involve COLLINGWOOD. It is a testiment to the amount of loyal fans we have out there, who still turn up when we haven't really been successful. Our membership figures show this as well! We are not a bunch of bandwagoners, and we stick by our club!

Yeah, it's uncanny how our games always pull a lot of people.
But are these people Collingwood supporters? Or are they opposition supporters who think that, because they're playing Collingwood, they've got a good chance of seeing their team win?
There'll be a lot of Carlton supporters there on Sunday. And they'll be going there absolutely certain that Carlton is going to win. I'd just love to see the looks on their faces if we beat them ... but of course, if we win they'll all go home half-way through the last quarter, just like they did in round 3 last year.
Remember that? Who could forget? But wasn't it amazing how there were no Carlton supporters left at the end of the match. I'd been really looking forward to ramming it down their throats. But I couldn't find ONE.

Fradam,
There was no typo. I am the resident pessimist on this site. I'm tipping Carlton by 20 points. It wouldn't matter if we were unbeaten and Carlton were on the bottom. I'd still tip Carlton.
My motto is: expect the worst ... and anything better is a bonus. And if the Pies happen to prove me wrong by kicking Carlton's arse ... fantastic!!!

LOL Alf, that's a understatment mate.
Your a lot like my dad Alf, he has been a Collingwood supporter his whole life and when we are in front, im celebrating victory while he is the pessimist playing it down. When i ask him why he says this, he says with a smile "I've been to too many Collingwood Grand finals mate."
