BARFL Pre-Season ANZAC Cup

The Putney Magpies played in their first Pre-Season cup at the weekend and came out of it with a 2 and 2 record.

Due to a lack of players at the start we had to forfeit our first game and get some ringers in for the next 3.

Our 2nd game against the Scottish Puffins was a tight encounter with the Putney Magpies eventually winning by 3 goals.
In the third game against the British Bulldogs we domintated both halves and came out winners by a margin of 7 goals (not bad in a 20 min pre season game).
In what turned out to be our last match of the day we succumbed to the eventual winners the West London Wildcats by a measly 3 goals.

Well done to all the guys that played and roll on the Season proper that starts this Sunday at Clapham Common.
