Well done squad

For those who could make it deep into enemy territory at football park on sunday well done and good effort.

For the rest of the squad dont despair the pies showed great character and bravery on sunday and i believe we have turned our season around and next saturday we will belt the FILTH.

We havnt had that much to cheer about lately but on saturday we will fire up and be so bloody loud the FILTH wont know what hit them.

A certain email will be forwarded to all squad members on saturday from a carlton supporter rejoicing in very personal terms at our grand final loss last year.

You wanna hear some serious noise and passion wait until bloody saturday afternoon when we belt the bastards!!!

you all sounded bloody superb on sunday - at one stage in the last quarter i'm pretty sure i could hear the slow collingwood chant loud & clear on the tv! beautiful!

I hope we are very load on saturday! and i hope we do it for our boys!!! I also think that even throught we may not be winning at a point in the game that everyone needs to join in and cheerl because i find that when we are losing not as many people join in!

It is imperative that we do not get outcheered by the Ancient Enemy. No matter what the score. Keep cheering.

I want some atmosphere, from the opening bounce, till the final siren.

We have to arrive in song. We need to be vocal on our way to the ground. I want the song sung so many times before the bounce that the Scum have to wonder whether they are playing the bottom team or the top team.

The squad will shake the very foundations of the 'G' this saturday it will be non stop cheering and singing all day..THE ENEMY WILL NEVER OUT CHANT US AND THEY BLOODY WELL WONT THIS SATURDAY thats a promise.

Bring ya strepsils or a bex powder and tea bags because this saturday we aint gonna stop till we throat bleed or drop!!!

I actually believe the two chant leader thing has failed badly, we need only one chant leader to go beserk and fire up the squad.
I will put this forward to the committee as soon as possible.

Yeah I agree Joff at times they stand up and one starts with one chant the other with another, then they look at each other laugh and go bang with which ever they feel like. Why doesn't one take the home games and one take the away games.
Some of the chants as well they need to be assesed when they chant them. Not when Josh takes a mark on the wing and kicks it 3 seconds later to whoever. The games gone on and they are still chanting ohh arr Josh Fraser. Timing its all about the timing.
The other crap that they sing out when the opposition kicks a point "should be shot ect" CRAP!! Not to fond of Black White, Black and White either . (colours are the greatest, tune is dorky)
Tell me guys what you all think?? Surely we can think of some fresh stuff it can't be that hard!!!
108 point loss last week for them, surely win 2 is ours for the taking this week. Lets be Loud Lets be Proud!!!

i disagree there with you joff, i think it is working quite well, even when we're down which has been a lot of the year, peter and craig are still both up there chanting there arses off. yes they may start different chants at the same time but i reckon they're both doing a pretty damn good job at it. I think it's the people around them and the people up the back that don't help them out. It's a tough job being a chant leader but i think these two guys are doing a mighty fine job at the moment

expanding on peter's point i think we're gonna need some new chants or bring some old chants back and make them new again. Some of the chants are getting pretty repetitive especially that black and white one.
So i think this could be looked into

Not saying there not doing a great job, mate they certainly are...We have only one 1 game...and as we are all aware its been awhile since we have been this low. Pete and Craig are doing a great job...and yes they are usually the only 2 up and singing out the tunes.
why not try a few thing different this week. Like Craig go bang with the first, Pete you go bang with second and so forth, mate if your sitting next to each other then surely you will be aware of who is about to stand up a rip their lungs out. Go hard guys!!! Or go a qtr each!! Trial and Error...get it right and the squad will rise as one.

Its not easy being a chant leader i know i was one for a couple of seasons, and we have to support the chant leader and get behind him.

But i can tell ya the two chant leaders thing aint working and will have to be changed..the chant leader will be in middle of front row and take complete control of leading the chants and firing up the squad.

I agree the chant 're all the players should be shot' is disgraceful and childish and stupid. I never once employed this chant.

Peter is the main man to lead the chants he is the leader with whom the squad will look to and follow with any chants he delivers.

We need to fire up and do it quickly, we are the number one cheersquad and cant afford to be overtaken by any other cheersquad.

A lot of work went into bringing new chants to the squad 3 years ago lets not stuff it up.

why dont we keep 2 chant leaders but just move 1 towards the middle to fire the back of the squad up
