Well done SQUAD Part 2

Post by Peter »

I think last weeks topic which started with Joffa should continue on this week. Started with Joff congratulating people who went to the Port game then he said how he wanted us to rock the G against Carlton. Dan and Joff had some heated words. Geoff piped in with a couple of replies. Peter added his 2 bob and JLC and a few others chimmed in with a handball and kick each.
The heated words continued over the 2 chant leaders and Dan being the number three man at times. If this is what it takes to lift the cheer squad to the next level then lets bring on PART 2. Today guys and gals in the cheer squad we meaning the CHeeR SqUad did ourselves PROUD!!
Yes we are there for Support and to Cheer but what happened in the last qtr today was a disgrace. The boys were disgusting how could they let that slip.
Joffa, Craig, Pete and co. You did us proud today. Today we had 4 chant leaders about 5 or 6 side kicks and an orchestra that was like no other. Yeah we lost the battle but we didn't lose the war!! We still remain the number 1 Cheer Squad. Chin Up guys/gals in the end we are the support it the 22 blokes that need to lift not us we are doing just fine!!
1st Vs Last this week bring it on (hahaha)

Congrats to the cheersquad for a top day at chanting and singing against the enemy i thought we were fantastic.

A special thanks to our good friend Alf, it was good to have you back mate.

Sometimes we have to be direct and pull no punches and i know this upsets some people but if we have a problem it has to be discussed its no use whispering in the shadows.

Chant leading isnt easy and its not a game, its this simple we need passionate collingwood people to deliver the chants or otherwise it will never work.

Peter is a bloody good chant leader and very passionate, craig is their to help peter.

I think its important to have a person walk up the aisle in helping peter or craig deliver the chant of there choice just to get everyone involved.

Its simple our chanting prior to the carlton game was shit but improved greatly and was superb against carlton, we were like the cheer squad of old.

Lets keep it going and appreciate how hard it can get and also appreciate the whole squad has to get behind peter.
cheers

I thoguht it was cute seeing Alf back up the front, it bought back memories of 2002.
Unfortunately I can't make it on Saturday :( but I hope to hear the cheersquad on fire when I watch the replay of us thrashing St Kilda.

Here, Here...an undermanned Collingwood line up has been named let's hope by the 15 minute mark of the last qtr the jacket is on....we are singing the famous chant "Same Old St.Kilda" and we leave with a winners circle like no other...fingers and toes crossed looking forward to the big one. See you all there Saturday.
