We're On The Road Again!

I suspect every Magpie supporter needs an ambulance for possible heart failure. I don't like to dwell on history but that last quarter scared the shit outta me. Last weeks defeat from the jaws of victory was flooding back until we showed much needed composure to deservedly beat the Powerless Port. I marveled at our high skill level, our willingness to run and support and also hold onto the ball until the right option presented itself. Every player contributed positively regardless whether they had 30 or 2 possessions (Buckley 30, Didak 2). Rocca played an almighty game especially in the ruck, Neon dismissed his critics to play a pivotal role in the victory along with Bucks, O'Bree, Tarrant and Presti. Our defence has been sealed with great aquasitions who also brought along the silicon tubes. Wakelin, Presti, Lonie and the numerous other small defenders played very close to their opponents and provided drive from the backline. I'm still trying to get over the tension of the last quarter.
Go those MIGHTY MAGPIES!!!
Now onto the Saints....

What can i say !!!
I'm speechless , from being gutted and sulking all week i just witnessed one of the best performaces i have seen from this GREAT club.
Inspirational, backs against the wall, maturity every player played there part in this great win.
Surely this is the start of a stretch of wins for us.
I had goose bumbs watching the guys singing that holy song in front of our cheer squad.
Having travelled alot watching the boys play interstate over the last 12 years , i honestly thought last years win in sydney was as good as it gets, but how i wish i was there tonight to witness this great victory.
I hope all u guys and girls that travelled to watch this win lap it up and give it to those morons as i have had my bad experiences walking out of that shit hole and being called every name under the sun .
Oh how the world seems so different now Image

I havent watched it yet,as in WA its not on until midnight, but from the radio call on ABC which was incredibly biased to port,it seemed that Clement and steinfort and molloy all did a great job and wakes, and holland were good in patches.
Thats 5 recruits playing well each week.
Its the first time in memory that our recruits can actually play good footy.
MM when at wet toast could defend any lead in the last qtr,but doesnt seem to have the same knack these days.
Shit i got nervous in that last qtr, memorys of last week came haunting back and luckily primus went off so we could hold on this time.
Looking forward to watching it soon if i can stay awake

Thanks for rewarding our loyalty ,
A gutsy effort, and on balance more than made up for the dissappointing showing last week. What they need now is to show they can back up in a "should win game" this week. If they can start to show constistency we will deserve the credibility we are now being freely given.
