The Tarrant-Geelong rumour..
It's on a few other boards so I though I may aswell throw it up on here..
I cant see it happening (as with all Taz rumours) but hypothetically, what would it take?
Tenace and Pick 12?

Pick 12, James Kelly and either Brent Moloney or a second round draft choice.
The Tarrant rumours are flying thick and fast and despite his obvious upside to the Collingwood Football Club, where there is smoke, there's fire and Mark Robinson of the HUN said some 3 weeks ago that a key Collingwood player would be put up for trade in the first week of October and that 15 clubs would be clammering for him.
Something is happening at the club for sure.

What would it take?- A gun to Eddie's head and an ultimatum to shoot him unless he traded.
There's a thread in nearly every club's chat board claiming a deal for Tarrant. It is interesting that none of the claims start from a maggi board. You would think if Tarrant was on the table there would have been a leak from a Magpie source to a magpie board.
I would think that its envy and wishfull thinking similar to Judd wants to come to Victoria, St. Kilda can't afford Ball etc. Its based on the fact that Tarrant is one of the elite players in the league and that we have got him and they haven't.
If they really want him and aren't prepared to use guns, then Scarlett and Harley will do the trick. Then we can trade Presti, Walker, Hall etc. for midfielders elsewhere.

"Other Boards" = "BigFooty". I read the whole miserable thread and it started off as a rehash of the rumour posted here a couple of weeks ago, then degenerated into the personal abuse that typifies BF. I don't know why you bother posting on it.leonmagic wrote:It's on a few other boards so I though I may as well throw it up on here..
One of the early posters even said it was a done deal for Ablett and Scarlett, which I posted here as being the minimum requirement before Collingwood should even think about it.
Rumours start there, rumours start here, rumours start anywhere. It's all a load of f*cking crap.

That would exlude Tarrant. St.Kilda wouldn't need him with their structure. Excluding Maggies + Saints that leaves 14 teams. Port and Swans wouldn't be so eager either.a key Collingwood player would be put up for trade in the first week of October and that 15 clubs would be clammering for him
Players that would be chased by all teams would be Didak, Cole and Fraser (key does not necessarily mean kpp)
