Best possible Trades

Post by richo »

I'd like to pose the question. Who are the best players we can get, what would we have to give up to get them and why would we want them, and do we honestly have a realistic chance of getting them? Answer in terms of -->

Best Midfielder available
Best Defender available
Best Forward available
Best Utility available

We definitely need another midfielder and I reckon Brent Harvey fits the mould perfectly, quick, skilful and capable of kicking goals but what would we have to give up? Let me know your thoughts. As for Taz going elsewhere personally I reckon it's a crock of s**t.

Richo.

Third rounder already accounted for. J26, can you say Travis Cloke?

I think some people significantly overrate our duds.

Lokan = shit
Presti >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jolly
B Harvey ~ OB and McG dont think Harv that consistent, too small.
Dal Santo IMO >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Woey02 edit your post so we can read this thread a bit easier.

Best midfielder available > Dal Santo. I'd offer Richards and pick 7. Realistically he probably won't leave the Saints.

Best Defender available > Not many defenders names have come up. Wirrapunda for Davis would probably be our best scenario there, and it's quite realistic.

Best Forward available > Probably Ottens. No real chance of getting him though.

Best utility > Cam Bruce. Presti + second rounder. Small chance but could eventuate.

Obree + Swan for smith?

Midfield: Presti/Walker + pick 7 OR 23 for del santo/luke ball or MCG + Obree for Harvey

Cant see Richards going anywhere just yet. Would like to see how he goes in the firsts for a full season before we start talking about trading him.

We should trade for a third rounder. Swan?
