We may try and trade McG but won't delist him if he can't be traded. For a start I believe he is contracted but secondly he would be better than an unknown picked up at no 75 in the draft.

Lokan is one of the fastest players in the team. He is a long accurate kick and bursts forward. He flys the flag and sticks up for his mates. Had a great 2003 but a poor 2004 - as most young players do. He will bounce back next year.

I honestly think there'll be a player or two from Brisbane that will end up in the PSD, someone like Shattock who might find himself the odd-man out as far as re-signing goes.

Add the customary few players from other clubs, and we may be able to actually get a decent player at pick #4 of the pre-season draft.

McGough won't be delisted.

Balme has said, that if McGough isn't traded (ie. say if McGough WANTS to go elsewhere), then we won't be delisting him.

Very rare that you delist a player with a year left on his contract as you have to pay it out regardless.

Mind you if MCG isn't traded, he'll be in the starting 22 for Round 1, don't worry about that.

McGough has value. If he is going to go - trade him - not for a draft pick!

Shattock is a better player then some think. Very underrated, but Notting is a much better option.

I don't know why we'd trade McGough. He's the kind of guy you trade someone else to make room for.

Give him O'Bree's spot in the side for God's sakes...

Shattock is a very over rated player. He spent virtually the whole season with the Lions Cubs and still wasnt a stand out player. When we played against them in the middle of the season I didnt even know he played until after the game when I shook his hand. Let him go else where I say.

He has been injured for much of the year so I wouldn't look into that. He is the sort of player we need. No doubt he will want to go.

I think Shattock and Notting will both stay with Brisbane now due to the retirements of Lynch, Pike, White, McRae and Hart plus the suspensions of Black and Brown next week (6 weeks? ha ha ha). They will both have a real opportunity to consolidate positions in the side during next season.

I still think both would want out. Shattock is an Adelaide boy, so Port/Crows may be an option.
