Would certainly take this one if it was true. I think the Pies would be the winners here considering that O'Bree's form has been shot since 2001 and Morrison was certainly looking closer to his best, especially in the last 7 rounds. Worth the Punt IMO!

Its a Big Footy rumour and its bullshit because we wont deal on Morrisson as they are 99% certain that if he is placed in the pre-season draft they'll get him at four.

It would save delisting O'Bree and paying him out. I'd do it.
Get back on top.

If Carr goes into the Pre Season draft, Hawthorn will snap him up and sign him to a one year deal and then trade him anyways.

Our pick in PSD is the best bargaining power we have because we are the only team in that top four to have any bloody money.

Burns is now on the Veterans list from what I can gather.
Buckley's contract was backloaded so half goes onto that.
O'Bree is on big bucks, we clear him and pay half, we still make a profit on someone like Buchanan.
Kinnear gorn
McKee gorn

From everything I heard this year, we only payed somehting like 98% of the cap anyways, so we have enough for a big time player. Must consider that the majority of our players are Under 24, with the exception of Johnson, Didak, Lockyer, etc, most have failed to make significant impacts and are still finding their feet and as such, big money isn't there's.

Also renegotiated on Weowodin saves us money.
