After watching and listening to the the Pies since the mid 80's, this is the first year since 1990 (IMHO) that I have seen so much QUICKNESS and SPEED in a team.
For goodness sake MAGPIES don't forget that you can out run any side in the League and put moves on them to fake them out of their socks. THE SECRET TO 2001 PREEMIERSHIP SEASON IS SPEED AND QUICKNESS----TAKE CARE OF THAT AND THE GOALS WILL BE THERE.
and you will be a top four side.
Jarrod, I hope you read this, I have coached sports for many years here in the states and you are the type of player that is absolutely essential to any championship team---HUSTLE, FIGHT AND HEART in the forward line----that can't be replaced---hang in there and your goals production will improve but in the meantime be as mean and tough as you need to be (within the limits of good sportsmanship)to clear out the other side------and know this:
The MIGHTY PIES have a WORLD WIDE ARMY so vast that others sides can only look in awe. and we are all behind each one of you players.
