At Nick's request I have put most of the messages from the old bulletin board back on line with an incorporated search script. The posts go back to March '97 and make for interesting reading. There were some posts lost in a system crash that were never recovered, but the majority of them are there and available through a link on the front page of the bulletin board.

I'm still working on the search script. It works, but it's slow. At the moment the default (and only) method of search is boolean AND, so if you type more than one word into the search form only documents that contain all the search words will be returned. e.g. If you enter 'tony' or 'tony shaw' or 'tony collingwood' you will get quite a few hits, but if you enter 'tony asdf' you will get none because no post contains both words.

Remember that the script is still under development and is slow (1 - 2 minutes), but it's reliable and it's quite interesting to type in your user name and see what you were saying 2.5 years ago.
