Ideal Collingwood side! Its hard!

Hello Collingwood brothers and sisters.
I was just thinking about an ideal Collingwood team from our list. (Eveyone is injury free)

I tell you what, its a very very hard decision. Very difficult to find spots for players i would love to give spots to! Anyway, i will give it a crack, and I hope you put your team in to.

F: B.Holland, J.Molloy, C.Tarrant
HF: J.Fraser, A.Rocca, N.Davis
C: P.Licuria, N.Buckley, C.Rintoul
HB: J.Clement, M.Richardson, R.Lonie
B: S.Wakelin, S.Prestigiacoma, T.Lockyer
R: S.McKee, S.O'Bree, C.Steinford

INT: B.Johnson (Excellent player,unlucky not to be above)
L.Davis: (Ditto,good crummer)
G.Freeborn (Great runner from HB flank)
R.Betheras (Good backup defender,steped up on Saturday)

EMG: S.Burns (I really can't find a spot for him! This will cause some arguments, but I think it will be hard for him to get a run in the coming years.)
A.Dimmatina (This was hard, would love to have him in the side, but there is a crap-load of quality and he JUST misses out)

God, that was hard.

what about damien adtkins & i dont think you can have all three of freeborn, rintoul & betheras. Scott Burns was(and) still could be a superstar - i think that is a bit harsh.

Backline may be to tall !

Great Team but I would take Wakelin out for Scotty burns and
have Clement play as a third string defender.He is very versatile
and we need our V/C fit and firing in the side

Steinfort has to be in our best team without a doubt. Scott Burns must also be in the team as well. People forget how good he is sometimes!!!!!!!!!!

its timagpies and i'll have a crack at it anyway but I agree with nick the pieman it is bloody hard because Collingwood have so much depth now then we ever had now since about 1990.
Anyway here is my line up.

I think i will revamp my own line up. It is so exciting that COLLINGWOOD have so much depth and talent to draw on.

c: lockyer bucks rintoul
cb:clement richo lonie(done very well in his first year)
b: burns presti wakelin
r: mckee o'bree steinfort
int: licuria n.davis l.davis freeborn johnston (stong bench)
emerg: betherus dimattina lane cloke

this line up is extemely flexible and vertatle where players can play a varity of positons and roles such as a lockeyer burns swap.

Tim youve gone the Micky Malthouse bench! 5 players! + 4 emergencies!
I reckon our best team is exactly the same as the first post says, with Burns, Adkins, Dimma, Lane and Didak a bit stuff to miss out. But a bit of competition for spots in the team can only help + remember them little things called 'injuries'

Pretty close to the mark Nick, but there's no way u can leave Burnsy out. Just like Bucks, he's stuck with us thru the bad times when he could've gone to greener pastures.

Kinnear is ahead of others due to team balance a late replacement is required. Didak not included cos he's yet to prove himself at the highest level, but there's no doubt he's good enough. Port Power would love to have him just as much as Bucks.
