as a member you pay the money to go watch your team for free. right? so why do we have to suffer and pay a huge booking fee because we support a big club? i had to pay an $11 booking fee on a concession membership for a seat in the top level behind the goals in the southern stand. what is going on at the afl?

The booking fee is ticketmasers $profit$.
The AFL couldn't give a rats what you pay because if you don't go someone else will. If they don't go - even better we'll make it a television game. We all go along year after year complaining about this stuff but none of do anything.
Wouldn't it be good if the clubs that conatantly bicker with the AFL actually mobilised thier members and supporters to get some first hand feedback in large numbers to the AFL!
WHATAYA RECON EDDIE??

It is ~$3 for the ticketmaster booking fee, and ~$7 as an AFL Blockbuster fee. All matches that are designated blockbuster matches, of which we make up the majority, are slugged with extra charges onto of membership and booking fee charges. So again Collingwood support everyone else by another indirect means.
