The two tests that England have won have come after they played brilliantly whilst Australia played like crap. Australia only have to lift a little bit to win this test and retain the Ashes.

Was watching Sky News this morning on Sat TV. Anyway the Poms are thinking about nothing else! I loved the bit about whether Collingwood would play or not. With the flop of the Soccer team beaten by N. Irland the expectations of the Nation are on the cricketers! The pressure is there and with the likelyhood of the pitch holding out they keep mentioning Shane Warne!!!! Hope this test is going to be close like the others and we pull it off in the last ball of the last over!

Id hate to be in pontings shoes if we lose. Id also hate to be in gilchrists because he has not done one good thing all tour and is probably the reason we are loosing. We miss his quick fire 50 to put the pressure off. His keeping has not been flash either.

Aussie win or a draw. Warney is simply a freak. He will eat them in the 2nd innings. Tait may be the surprise packet. Whilst he's easy to score off, you just don't know where its going to land. I'd rather be facing Lee.

Gilly and Hayden have to fire. I have a feeling that Haydos and Langer will pull out one of their trademark 100+ opening stands. Give them both a licence to thrill and kill. Ditto Gilly. Just have a go.

7 for 300 odd overnight

Strauss 126
Flintoff 72

Warne 5 wickets

Aussies in box seat and need to polish the tail off quickly tonight and lets hope as J26 said Haydos and Alfie can put on at least 100.

Our selectors have made it difficult for Ponting. Hayden is only good for taking a catch. I thought haddin was one of the stand out batsmen throughout the one day series and should have been in the squad and even playing once hayden proved he was out of form. THen Katick could open with Langer and provide some stability in the top order that is crucial in tests.

BTW Warney you are a star. Hope the rain stays away long enough. Been a great test series.

Regardless of the result, knight Shane Warne now and I don't give a stuff where he drinks, what he smokes, who he dials nor who he pokes.

Good to see The Sports Bar used a bit more, now. :)

MacGill should have played. He would have fed off Warne.
