Become a "SA Magpies" member:

Please read the attached Introductory Letter. The letter will also be mailed this week by Bree at CFC to each of the ~1,000 Collingwood Members and Supporters on the CFC database in SA.

Hopefully the Introductory Letter answers many of your questions and paints an appealing picture of our vision for the SA Magpies. The Sign-On Information Day will provide the vehicle for further discussion. If you wish to discuss the SA Magpies beyond these means, our contact details are in the letter.

One thing we do as supporters of footy if you don't have FOX, is go to the Pub to watch the game on FOX. Great theory. But if you support a non-SA team in Adelaide, the Pub is often full of locals watching the Crows/Power game on the FTA TV; or you can't have volume. Well, this problem is in the past for 2006 SA Magpies Members - plus we'll enjoy a "Collingwood atmosphere"!!!. Note, almost a quarter of Pies games in 2006 clash with Crows/Power matches.

We also researched the suburbs where Members and Supporters reside in SA and whilst there are number of fans scattered accross the Northern suburbs, some over East and many in the country, the best high concentration was found to span the West Lakes / City / Noarlunga region(Note we only had suburbs, no other member details). The Glenelg area is central to this area and we knew a willing publican in Matt Wilson at the Glenelg Jetty Hotel.

The Glenelg Jetty Hotel will be our home base and has impressive facilities to cater for Groups of different sizes. "Willow" is very enthusiastic about their involvement with SA Magpies. More details on the GJH can be found on http://www.sahotels.com.au/glenelgjetty/index.asp.
