It's great to see the enthusiasm building.
Today we received details and payment from our 29th member signed up by post since we started recruiting just over a month ago. We expect more memberships by post now that CFC memberships are being allocated in greater frequency. On the Sign-On Day (Feb 26th - details on other Post in this forum) we are also expecting a lot of new members to join.
The 29 members signed to date vary from under 8 months to over 80 years, they reside in a broad range of Adelaide suburbs, West to Roxby Downs, East to Kangaroo Island and North to the Riverland, 12 are CFC members and 10 are female. It's great to see the diversity of Collingwood followers supporting the new SA Magpies Supporters Group.
We are very close to completing our website which also includes our logo.
Tess, if you'd like to forward any information on previous Collingwood Supporters Groups based in Adelaide to SA Magpies, please feel free to. You are also welcome to join us as a member of SA Magpies.
Perhaps the Sign-On Day on Feb 26th will provide the opportunity for these. Alternatively, you are welcome to correspond to us in the SA Magpies email address (See below) or by phone or post (refer to previous correspondence in this forum).
Keep the support coming in.
Cheers,
Marty
