Grand Final Footy Show - Sound Problems

Post by Joel »

Hey! I went to the GF Footy Show last night, it was good except for one thing. I couldn't hear a bloody thing. Whenever Ed, Sam, or anyone on the panel spoke it was as if they were whispering.

Now, I admit I was up the back...but that means around half the audience heard jack all of what they were saying. Next time Ed, can you please organise the sound system so EVERYONE can hear and not just the people down the front. Maybe more speakers, or maybe turn up the volume.

Thankyou,

Joel!!!

Oh really??? Then you must have missed Sam(asswipe) Newman critise channel 7 for the crap footy coverage for the last 35 years and how they have done nothing for football. Mind you Ed did try to shut him up. Well that is when i turned the Footy Show off. I have not watched it since the Swarta incident and i thought i would tune in last night. Well never again. AND if Sam Newman is calling any of the Collingwood games next year on 9, well on goes abc radio....

Yeah, what was up with the sound? I was also way up the back unfortunately, (although that did mean a good view across the whole arena). Eddie came through loud and clear, Sam was a little harder to hear and at times you could hardly hear the guys on the panel at all.

And then the closest big screen to us kept going wonky as well!

But all that aside I had a fantastic time and the atmosphere and experience of actually being there was just amazing.

It was also great to hear how many Victorians were cheering for the Lions!

GO PIES!

Joffa - It would have been. The sound system they were using was pathetic though.

Well I'd say channel seven have been poor to fair in recent times - for many reasons including coverage, camera work commentary and all the stupid flashy wooshing things they put up before they show you the bloody scoreboard.

p.s.
Did anyone recognise the mark at the start of almost footy legends?

Dillo - Did you hear all the people yelling out telling them to turn the sound up? A couple of rows of people near me left early because they couldn't hear anything.
