As some of you know, I take oodles of pics and now I am asking for a favour from you guys. I am in the process of making Footy cards of the CFC & Willy boys which I am uploading HERE as I get them done. What I would like is if anyone has GOOD quality, possibly high res photos of the current boys in action during a game or training in their respective guernseys. The pics have to be preferably shots of a player on his own without other players actually in contact with him so I can extract the player from the picture without interference. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Below is a sample....

i made 'retro-style' (70's) footy cards the other week of all current listed players due to excessive boredom - and i found the pics in the player profiles on the official site to be perfect.

eg;

but for daisy's i used one from...i think it was the AFL fujicolour website or something?

Were you sitting in the cheersquad in the second row on the isle seat? If that was you you were sitting right behind me. I am just asking because there was this dude behind me with a pretty shmick camera taking pics the whole time he was there

Here i am learning about pasting and moving pictures and you lot are resizing trimming and modifying them! Awesome!! I love the 70's look- brings back memories... Great work, and i love the 13 of 44 detail!! Any chance of a link to more?

Mate this is a fantastic idea - the Dane Swan one looks terrific.

The picture inside each player profile on CFC.com.au are by far the best to use for each player.

Those pictures are brilliantly done ... but I'm just wondering about whether you might be breaking some sort of law by using them. Using the club logo or the images of AFL players without permission ... or some such thing. I know the AFL and the clubs get very possessive about their "intellectual property" or whatever.

I suppose you'll be OK as long you're not doing it for profit.

I'm no lawyer ... and I may just be worrying about nothing. I'd just hate to see you guys fall foul of people with expensive lawyers.

The images I have used are my own and no copyright has been infringed. I have spoken to the CFC about it , so no problem there, however if I used the pics from their site likeLeonMagic has, those images are copyrighted and belong to Getty Images, so I would be a little careful about using them.

yeah i just threw them together for something to do one night, theyre just sitting on my comp so i cant see the harm in them.

as alf said it shouldnt be a problem if im not getting any profit or something from them, surely?
