Old story i know ,but last night i had a real good look at tarrants mark against melbourne and compared it to moorcrofts mark.
Im pissed off, tarrants mark should have been awarded the mark of the year and i want to know why it wasnt ?
Who are the lowlife's with the resposibility on making such decisions ?

It was obvious which mark had the highest degree of difficulty - Chris Tarrant's.
Moorsoft might as well have had a ladder put in front of him, his mark was so easy!
Not to mention that Tazz was being pulled back downwards as he was flying up - so if he hadn't been grabbed he would have flown even higher!
TAZZ and THE MAGGIES WERE ROBBED YET AGAIN!
GO PIES!

Tazza's was soo much better, ripped off!
i was sitting right infront of it, and the whole southern stand rose with the great mark. It had been raining on and off all day, and tazza just seamed to appear from the middle of the pack. not to mention the guy right behind him dragging him down.
and moorons, oops, moorcroft? in the cosy settings of colonial with the roof closed, an uninterrupted run up onto the 1 player infront of him.
i think the only problem with tarrants was that the cameras didnt get the full thing, from 15 different angles, unlike the moorons, if i see that mark once more im gunna kick the tv.

Moorcrofts mark had more camera angles on it because it was at Colonial. Also it came second, so it was fresher in peoples minds.
I reckon Tarrant's other mark in the Melbourne game was better than all of them. Do you remember? Later in the same quarter, he flew for a huge speccie. Of course he was grabbed and spoiled and mauled, but kept his feet, and went after the crumb. The ball was chipped back to the goalsquare and Tarrant ran with the flight of the ball, jumped over the pack and pulled it down. He rates maximum points for effort, guts, judgement, leap, and hands. What was lacking was a suitable cliche from the commentators, and a half dozen camera angles so it could be replayed ad infinitum.
