Thanks for the report pns, sounds like Nick and I are not remote enough - might have to make a move.

Nick and I always get a buzz when we hear that Club personnel and players know of the site, so thanks for asking him and letting us know.

As much as I appreciate the contribution that Balmey is making and has made at Collingwood, I must say that I don't enjoy Melbourne matches as much as I used to when he was coach there. One of the highlights of a game of footy against Melbourne was watching Neil Balme's face. We don't get to see it anymore and we've lost one of the great tv footy images.

Enjoy the guernsey. London Dave reckons that Martha Gardiner's Wool Mix will get the writing out, but I haven't tried it on Nick's yet so I can't verify that.

You are welcome mate. He did make quite a strong point about Eddie moving faster than the speed of (E=Mc2) light when it comes to any form of communication let alone Bulletin Boards.
I certainly will enjoy the "imaginary" guernsey (as coined by Neil) if/when it arrives.
By the way, at times there have been posts discussing "the best of games" over the years. In fact, in Saturdays AFL Record (brought up or the event along with tonnes of ozzie pies and VB) I noticed that they had the best games of the year included...
Is it worthwhile having a Menu Bar of these "best of" CFC games? I for one would appreciate a hit list for next time I order a tape from aflvideo.com.au I'd be happy to coordinate it if you think it's a goer - I know you've already got an oer worked and underpaid workload in this regard....
all the best mate.
Lawrie.

Great to hear from ya PNS. Sounds like you have a few interesting insights into whats going to happen. hope they stick with the kids, sick of us burning cash on washed up old crocks. The Clokey comment was interesting too.

Mike is dead on regarding stained jumpers. If Martha's is a bit hard to come by over there (perhaps it's called Imeldas) try a little Borax and warm water.

Here's to a nice clean Magpies guernsey!

Thanks for the tips DaveO, quite appropriate indeed as Imelda is into emBalme-ing. It was a shot in the arm for me to speak to Neil Balme after being away from the news for so long. He said he'd send me an email so if he does I'll ask him to contribute here if he can spare the time. Poor bugger flew out on Sunday night to what must be a pretty full agenda this week. This is always an extremely interesting period so it'll be quite enjoyable to see what unfolds...
