Gary Morcroft

-Is a very average player. Yes he has played in a premiership but so has Shane Ellen!

-We have two forward pockets in Holland and Neon, why get another one when we have more pressing weaknesses in the ruck, and defence.

-I hear Judkins never watches Collingwood players so therefore he has no idea on our weaknesses.

-Moorcroft is a glorified Patterson. Difference is he can take spectacular marks.

-Judkins recruited him while at Essendon; maybe he likes bringing duds (i.e. Ukovic) from Essendon.

-Recruiting Moorcroft is basket case recruiting: the money is Scotland being exchanged for him (remember King Noel?)

I must say Rohan I agree with u on this one mate.We have players in our line up who I believe are better than Moorcroft now and will continue to improve as moorcroft has gone about as far as he can go. If we pick him up cheap...fair enough. But if we have to give up another player for him or a early pick....then shove it, don't want him. We have plenty of his type and could only see that either Neon or holland may lose place to make way for him.

Rohan, I'm no big Moorcroft fan but, really, to compare him to Patterson. i think he has a bit more ability and a lot more "grunt". I don't think there is a simgle similarity apart from height (or lack thereof).

I don't disagree with your oipinion re leaving him alone but like all deals it depends who you give up. I would swap him for someone like Lane who Sheedy aparently wanted in the past.
