Today is a very sad day. The Collingwood great, THE BIG SAV has confirmed he will retire at the end of the year to pursue a career in the NFL. A true champion is the big sav. Hopefully he will get a very big goodbye in the final game of the season when Collingwood plays North Melbourne at the MCG. I am thinking of coming over from Perth for the occassion. I love the BIG SAV.

Great? Don't know about that. Although he was a very good footballer and a great bloke definately.
Was very sad to see him leave the club and wish him all the best in the NFL.
Provided us with many fond memories

Kicked more than 500 goals in the B&W and was basically killed by Mr. Shaws coaching.
A Collingwood Great in every meaning of the term.
