Yes Ben you are repeating old stuff, but it's stuff that needs to be endlessly repeated. I agree the official site is a disgrace and has been for a long time.
The good news is that a new design team has been commissioned to replace the site with a release date of March.
What will happen in the 5 months until then, in the lead-up to the biggest recruiting drive the Club has ever seen, is anybody's guess. The current site disappeared completely for the whole of September and then reappeared just as it left. At the moment it appears that it is being left there to fill the gap.
It is a sad and neglected (pathetic?) public face to be showing at a time when heaven and earth (and money) are being moved to show the world that Collingwood is the dynamic and progressive force of the new millenium.
Manchester United have one of the most popular sporting web sites in the world. Can you begin to imagine them tolerating what we currently have, even as a gap filler? If Collingwood want to emulate MU, they have to live and breathe success and excellence in every facit of the organisation to the extent that mediocrity just has no room to exist - there can be no excuses.
When will mediocrity end?
