What made you happy today?

Post by EBB »

Today being 25degrees in winter, I decided to go for a bike ride along the beach. On (our) return, we went for a dip in the bay and although the water is cold, it was very refreshing. :)

Knowing we are in the Finals and a Chance to go top 4 and the Flag.

Went for a run around Fawkner Park and there were people everywhere lying on the grass, smiling and flirting. 2 weeks ago there was no-one and everyone was grumpy.

i went for a walk around fawkner park a few weeks ago [first time in about 10 years] and reflected on my childhood years having gone to school nearby and using the park for footy, cricket, cycling, playing with my mates etc. that made me happy.

reading my annual performance review by my boss made me happy today.

I spent the day in the garden, cleaning up down the back, mowing, putting in some new plants and generally enjoying working outside in the sunshine. Also got a call back about a query I raised about an advertised job, they're paying in the market of what I'm looking for and I have a preliminary interview tomorrow. :D

Thanks Jock. It's just a prelim with the recruitment agency. I'll check out the full job spec (they only put the good bits in the ads) and they'll quiz me and we'll see if we both want to go to the next stage. Does sound interesting though.

Finishing my linguistics assignment and handing it in today made me feel kind of relieved.

But, talking of feeling happy, I watched Amelie last night... always feel good after watching that film...

Good luck stui,
As for me, what made me happy today was finding half a pack of ciggies while scrounging around for change under the driver's seat :D

Hey, it was a slow 'happy day' :(
