Did MM ever coach him?

Maybe he needs his 'father figure' back...??

Too much baggage. The real shame though is the bloke can play.

You'd be pretty foolish to knock him back at the right price...but i think this is more now that the judd talk is over...they need a new big fish

Yeah he might be good for us but could also be a bad influence on the young guys.

I was actually hoping that at the beginning of the year he'd get dumped by WC and come to us. Players at a second club usually get a kick up the bum because they have been traded and get their act into shape.

He is old though, and I reckon he'll have a Buckley-like hammy problem, so now I'm not so keen on the idea.

Personally, I reckon what happened to Mainwaring will be the kick up the bum Cousins needed. He'll either go right off the rails or get his act together big time, I reckon it'll be the later. He'll stay where he is.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Please folks, lets not have another 90 page thread on Cousins coming to Collingwood, only to discover he has re-signed with West Coast or doesn't want to come to us.

Cannot believe somebody even suggested Cousins to Collingwood.

Do you relise his age?

Didn't suggest he was coming to the pies, just he was possibly up for trade. Just interested in the thoughts of going after him. I'd reckon no on the basis of age, more than anything (28-29) and dodgy hammies. Secondly, on his mental state, but maybe a change of culture is what is required.
