New Chants and match day traditions.

Always on the hunt for new chants.
If anyone has any please post them here.


We 've also decided to concrete some Cheersquad traditions for 2009 and beyond.
In the last quarter when Victory is on the cards, The Cheersquad will stand as one and sing a rousing rendition of Good Old Collingwood Forever. This will be something that will set us miles apart from the rest,,and in time when it catches on we'd expect the whole Ponsford stand to join in as they will be encouraged to do so. We are on the hunt for a great big flag like banner which will cover the whole cheersquad bay during the last quarter.

The long slow Collingwood chant will be prominent during the last quarter as it will be when the players mass together at the Ponny end before the start of the game.
Anyone and everyone in the cheersquad is encouraged to stand at anytime to deliver a chant..The days of being told to sit down are long gone...it's all about noise and passion.
If anyone else has any ideas on what also could be match day traditions let us know.
And any catchy chants will be welcomed.

These Fenerbache fans must of been made in heaven..They have proved to me that with dedication and persistence..WE CAN DO IT.

Check out this stadium chant..and you wanna know something originally one bloke ..then some more blokes..then a stand full of blokes and girls would have got this thing happening.

So looking forward to this year....the Cheer Squad looks destin for bigger and better things. With 100 new members we hope to deliver something that will be the envy of every other club....

I look forward to delivering the long slow Colllllllllliiiiinggggggggwwwoooddd chant this year with the back up vocals of the entire squad....and then hopefully the entire Ponsford then the entire ground...

We certainly need new chants but we must then deliver them...it's easy to think of them harder to make them happen.

Let's keep this the positive thread and make 2009 the start of new era...
