Who's for Eddie rejoining The Footy Show?

Out with JB I say. And possibly Gary Lyon. The excessive body hair jokes are getting really old. I say they bring on a whole new team with Eddie as the host and Sam behind the bar. Of course they'd have to extend the bar by a few feet just to fit him in there, but surely channel nine could funnel some of the money they're paying Bert to stay put, to rejig the show's set? I don't think I'm asking too much. Just don't get Warrick Capper involved, or I'll vom. Any suggestions for who could man the panel?

no. can the footy show unless it can provide insightful analysis for, and across, every game.

while i don't like brayshaw or lyon it's actually been nice to not see eddie on telly.

Please, there's still half wits such as those in the mX the other day who say Eddie is the TV personality they are most sick of. Little do the numb nuts realise, Eddie hasn't been on TV. So imagine if he WAS! Then the brainless morons will really have something to whinge about.

I know but if you're going to Eddie bash at least make it relevant. I wanted to write a letter into the mX bagging the morons but I didn't think they were worth a 25c message.

Should start with Caro. She's been doing a bit of Eddie bashing herself. I just think The Footy Show hasn't been the same since he left and I can barely stand JB and Lyon. At first I felt sorry for Gary cos they picked on him so much but now I'm over it. I think Dale Thomas, Jason Ackermanis and Matthew Richardson are the best panelists on the show so they should be given a more permanent spot. In fact, I'd give Acker his own segment where he could mouth off and cause controversy, LOL. Since he's joined the Dogs he doesn't piss me off quite as much!

yeah but I don't blame Acker so much as the umpires for the farce that was 2002. I mean, he played for Brisbane, it's only natural he wanted his team to win. That Grand Final was won by the Lions for three simple reasons: 1. Anthony Rocca's goal that was deemed a non-goal; 2. The wack across the back of the head Chris Tarrant copped from Darryl White in the goalsquare with about five minutes left on the clock, which was totally ignored by the umps, and 3. the bullshit dive up the other end by Alistair Lynch that resulted in a gimme goal. I've yet to see the replay but I wouldn't mind betting he ran into a team mate, not a Collingwood player.

As for the Footy Show... did anyone see last nights? Dale Thomas was saying his house was haunted, which is bizarre, considering that on The Plot Sickens, in the 3rd or 4th season, I had his house haunted! Spooky....

I was much more amused with Sam's albatrose impersonations.Classic!
