Was the Thomas named as in Dale? Pev will be the only VFL player to get a game. Rusling, Dyas, T.Francis & Bennell the only listed no shows for the weekend.

Like to see those two names in the senior 22 next week lined up as named above.

My mistake. I typed Thomas instead of Francis. I've fixed the original post now.

Rusling and Dyas were out injured from the practice match last week, but Bennell had a pretty good game.

I saw Bennell on crutches the other night so i'm suspecting a foot or leg injury

All 22 are AFL. Rusling and Dyas are injured. Don't know what Bennell is doing.

Yeah, won by 2.12

We dominated the opening 15 minutes but kicked terribly then geelong kicked 3 straight to take the lead in about 5mins.

First 2 1/2 qtrs skills were terrible but the longer the game went the better they got.

McCarthy was close to BOG in the 1st half but I didn't see him in the 2nd half.

Stanley played predominantly as a HFF and wasn't in best 6.

Rocca did all that as asked and kicked about 3.2 and did some nice work across half forward. Only played about 5mins of last qtr, almost certain to come back next week.

Bryan played key defender in 1st half and key forward in 2nd half and did very well up forward.

Macaffer was very very good across half forward and on the wings.

Corie = selfish

thats about all for the moment

McCarthy was on fire in the first half and really attacked the contest. Must have got injured though as he didn't come on after half time.
However Blair took over were McCarthy left off. Nothing of him but really hard at it and just what we are crying out for. Knocked up getting it in the second half. Steele wasn't bad without dominating. Rocca & Dawes were okay but neither probably pressed for senior selection. Corrie & Stanley both won enough of the ball but their kicking skills were very poor from both of them.
