One side of the banner at AAMI on Saturday night read:
"SIDE BY SIDE COLLINGWOOD FC THANKS THE SA MAGPIES"

Well, on behalf of the SA Magpies in the crowd, we were blown away when we read that, so whoever was responsible your gesture was greatly appreciated.

It was perfect. Those words in our song "side by side we stick together" are a creed in themselves, and are the best way to express our approach at SA Magpies to supporting Collingwood and each other.

Those words are the sole reason why we worked so hard to arrange the pre-game function we hosted on Saturday. Thanks to everyone who attended and made it so worthwhile! There were ~100 'Pies fans at The Directors Hotel. Keep an eye on the fixture for next year and we'll do it again.

If anyone took a photo of those words on the banner, could you please email it to us so we can post it with pride on our website and in our newsletters (The Swooper).
