Prestigiacomo doubt?
Went down and saw the first half of the ressies today and i couldnt see 3 of those named on da bench for us running around. Lane and Hawking were there but couldnt see anyone else. Maybe this suggests that Presti will miss although i thought Hawking would have been brought in if Presti was unfit so possibly Ukovic or Brown maybe given one more week to recover.
the doubt is still there for me. It has been mentioned that presta is in doubt. Yes, Rowdy is playing but is presta to be missing. Will Hawking or Wasley pull on the guernsey tomorrow?
Maybe we should bring back patto to flatten lloydy from behind and get suspended. Will we miss him? Will he prove himself worthy of a return to the good books?

I see on the offical Collingwood site that Presti has been named at Full Back. And lane and Wasley have been dropped to make way for him and Ukovic.

Sorry for all the posts but here is an article about Presti from the AFL site.
Pie defender injury worry
By Geoff Poulter

MAGPIE defender Simon Prestigiacomo will struggle to prove his fitness at training this morning for tomorrow's clash with Essendon.
Prestigiacomo, likely first option to guard full-forward Matthew Lloyd, has an ankle injury.
''He has had a light week,'' Collingwood communications manager Robert Pyman said last night. ''But he'll be tested at training to see how he comes up.''
Simon Hawking has been named among three emergencies and could be included if another tall defender is required.
The Magpies are already without versatile, tall, marking players Anthony Rocca and Mal Michael, so the loss of the key defender, who last week stood Wayne Carey, would stretch their resources.
The Pies also have to find opponents for Scott Lucas, James Hird and Steve Alessio.
Essendon has named virtually a full-strength side with the return from injury of Mark Mercuri, Michael Long and Paul Barnard.
The Bombers are on the verge of giving a probable 90,000 MCG Anzac Day crowd a lasting reminder of why they are hot premiership favorites, even at this early stage.
They sparkled on the Windy Hill training track on Wednesday and looked hard and skilled, with more than a touch of sheer class.
A measure of their strength is that Magpie Andrew Ukovic, who played only seven games with Essendon last year, is likely to get an important task tomorrow, perhaps picking up Mercuri or Hird.

let's just hope that presti is playing and if not that he recovers soon. he is in fine form. is there any further news on crosisca? Also, if hawking played in the reserves, will they get him up for the ones? or will wazza play? I apologise for that pathetic attempt at humour and promise never to bring up patto again!!!!
