Holy mackerel.

Even I'm scared by this team.

Collingwood's percentage is UP slightly (to 175.8 ) after that, on my calculations (2057 points for; 1170 points against).

Dons were exceptional in the first half. Unlucky with injuries their kicking would have put anyteam to it's knees with one exception!!! :)
When we started to want the ball it was only a matter of time. Next

how about Timmy Watson cracking the sads about a dons player getting pinged for dragging the ball in, then saying that as he went in hard he deserved a free, then saying BJ should have been penalised. Timmy was not happy for the entire second half, Eddie McGuire would never have stooped so low when he was commentating, most unprofessional.

Exactly.... injuries didn't help them, but I don't think they are good enough to maintain that efficiency all game.

Was not happy about the first quarter
Second was better
Third was fantastic
Fourth was good

I though the third quarter was the best we played.
Really liked Fasolo
Sinclair did well

Anyone at the game how did Macaffer play?
On the TV it looked like he did bugger all

Looked slow early - but then, so did they all.

Common, if u rate that 2nd half like other 2nd halves this year, then you have 2 many holes in your head.

Essendon where down players from the start of the game.

Collingwoods forward line pressure was non-existant against the sun's the week before too.

Mick knows its not all roses even though the margin was quite large

Lol @ Duff, you won't hear that from me!

Clearly the first quarter and a half we were disgraceful. I won't argue that. But once we decided to quit screwing around and play the way we are supposed to play, we were simply unstoppable. The second half was a truly frightening display, and while I know the Bummers were decimated by injury, hey, so were we.

No Daisy, no Wellingham, no Didak, no Dawes, no Shaw - that's five premiership players out, and we still put on a show like that. The handbaggers can blow out the Melbournes of this world all they like - the fact is they cannot come close to this football team when their minds are on the job.

Swan was magnificent, as was Pendles and Leon, but I loved the contribution of young Fasolo, Blair was an absolute terrier, Sinclair's speed is breathtaking and Ball - who I noticed had ice on his quad afterwards which is a worry - must be the most fearless player in the league.

The intensity, the tackling, the ball movement - it was all spectacular in the second half. Essendon tried hard, but weren't in the same class. Tick another box, and move on to next week.
I, for one, welcome our new black and white overlords
