Just 2 hrs of work left and then I'll be heading in. Had a great day so far. Hope the greatness continues!

Also: Go Dids! Hope he continues proves tonight why he's in our best 21/22 after his injury/form slump.

My guess is there will be no late changes tonight, given the two teams were named just over 24 hours out from the game, there are rarely changes to Friday Night teams.

As for the game itself, St Kilda won't be able to match it with us all night, so if we just grind away, and stay consistent with our effort and intensity for 4 quarters, at some point we will have a big patch that puts the game beyond doubt.

Looking forward for this, have been for weeks, it's a test, we need one, and we will get one.

But tonight we virtually sew up our second consecutive McClelland Trophy as minor premiers, as if we win tonight, the Lions and Shockers won't get near us, and round 24 will become largely irrelevant in terms of ladder positions. :D

First game in the standing room since '09, anyone got any good suggestions for places to stand at Etihad?

Can't wait for the siren to go. Go smash em boys!

Stand either behind the cheersquad and the away members area (Southern Cross station end goals) or go over to the wing and stand behind the AFL Members section which will have plenty of pies fans in it tonight.

Standing room there is so shitty, not elevated at all like the G, sucks really.

We didn't quite get the smashings we were after against the scum this season so I hope tonights the night we unleash hell against a hated foe.

P.S-That Collingwood lineup would still look a lot better with THE BEAST in it.

Toovey as well.

Need Leroy to have a big game as we're a tall/medium short in our forward line IMO.

P.P.S-It feels great to finally have a Friday night game to look forward to.

No waiting until Sunday bs.

Even better is that for the first time for a while I'm really looking forward to a bit of a contest tonight.

Gets the juices flowing.

I guess there's no level 2 or 3 standing room stuff to get a bit of elevation?

Looking at getting there around 7 so hopefully that's early enough to get a decent spot considering most ticktes will be reserved.

There's the open area on level 3, I stood there for one game, but it wasn't a fully ticketed game like tonight, so not sure if it will be accessible tonight or not. Level 2 is off limits, yet will have more empty seats then the Stkilda reserved seating section.

Everything you have said is the way I feel about this match as well. I hope we smash them to death, but I can see them troubling us a bit but the Pies will still win by 3 or 4 goals in my opinion.

Pies by 21 points

Heading off now. I hope we kill them.

GO PIES!!!

Guess I'll have a look around. Going with a few mates so we can scout out the whole stadium for the best vantage point :)

A few metres from Swanny after the first Jolly tap sounds a good place to be.
