One Quarterbrain At A Time

Post by Mich@el »

I've lost interest in this show as the year has gone by, but I must admit I found some of last night's show good when Throbby Balls asked Quarterbrain which clubs were good and bad when it came to giving access to the media. He complemented Collingwood the most along with North and Melbourne. Among the worst were Hawthorn, Geelong and Saints.

There was a little graphic of the press release from Collingwood compared to the Hawks, where the Pies had a list of about eight of our stars available for interviews at the Saint Kilda Baths, whilst the Hawks only made their no name midfield coach available if they wanted to come to Waverley Park.

Perhaps it's a reflection of having Eddie in charge or perhaps we're just more professional, either way it's good to be leading the way and yet another great reason to love our club!

The club realises that it can't stop the media interest, the best way is to exercise some control by cooperating with the media instead. It's great for us fans, because we get more of our players interviewed on the TV, papers, radio, etc. In turn it creates more worth and value for sponsors, due to the increased media coverage, leading to greater sponsorship deals and higher income. It's win-win for the club.

He and Walls were sooking like a couple of little princesses, really made me laugh.

Quarterbrain has no sense of perspective on things, he gets really worked up & angry and just goes on & on about the smallest things. A tool of the highest order.

Yes it was quite funny seeing them cry over Carlton and Kraks mark.

I enjoyed this weeks One Week At A Time a lot, just listening to the sulking and the whinging over the decision to give Kraks mark of the year. Just the carry on seemed to be over the top, generally I find it ok.

I prefer The Game Plan though.

Last year Ed was quoted as saying doing 'September' off the field was something the club should pride itself on.

Saints went into siege mentality, we had sausage sizzles and face painting at training.

Worlds ahead. Big 4 clubs? Big ONE club.

The topic name is inaccurate. Should be One Quarter of a Brain at a time. I find QB so annoyingly smug - the Peter Costello of football shows. He is so insufferable I wonder how he gravitated to the Dorks pre Kennett - he should have been a Blueser, he had just the right amount of arrogance.

OK, Quarterfarkingbrain says one nice thing about the Magpies, out of about 600 snide remarks about us this year. His carry on and spewing over Kraks mark was reprehensible, childish, and pathetic, and Walls is no better, both a pair of dickwads, whom will choke on their words in two weeks time. !!

I mean he is a typical Hawthorn sook, although now his sooking has extended to matters not involving hawthorn, what a sad man he is.

Remember if an umpire pays a legitimate free kick against Hawthorn they will sook for at least 2 minutes if they pay a free kick that is not warranted they will sook for at least a quarter.

This is typified by the older bloke in the front row in their cheer squad with the mow that always wears a cap. Every time they show this bloke on TV he is screaming at someone. Lewis could punch 4 blokes in the head and get reported and this bloke would still be screaming at the umpire.

They will call it passion, I call it being a dumb ill-informed sook. I mean they are still sooking over Goldspink costing them the 2001 preliminary final even though they would have been smacked by Brisbane had they won through to the GF.

Make no mistake the MCG will be packed with these typical sooks no matter where we sit come Friday night so bring along your box of tissues for them and let the COLLINGWOOD CHANT drown out these sick and sorry sooks.

Carlton is and will always be scum, but these Hawk sooks are something else and they are not affraid to pump up their own tyres especially when they are having a decent season. Time for this mighty magpie machine to put this little nest of sooks 6 feet under for season 2011.

It comes with the sense of entitlement from sending your kids to Trinity and MLC. Kennett could not have gone to any other club.
