Favourite toys, gadgets, stuff, junk
I'm a shocker at buying junk. Gadgets or toys that look great, get used a few times then consigned to the back of the cupboard.
The back of the cupboard is where the mini muffin maker is, along with the pressure cooker, juicer and food processor.
The Slap Chop my son bought is a good one. Cheap and fun although a bastard to wash.
The mini USB powered helicopter only got a few runs before I stacked it and broke one of the blades.
The Rice cooker is a beauty.
The mini aircompressor for the car is a beauty. Can put enough air in a flat tyre to get me going again, and the portable jump starter means I don't need jumper leads. I've started several of oter peoples cars with it when they're stuck.
My fav toy has to be my electric fly swatter. Takes 2 D batteries and makes a satisfying 'Crack, crackle' when you get a decent size fly, moth or mossie with it. Also good at parties when you dare people to touch the grid with their tongue.
What's your favourite toy or gadget?
Or what crap did you buy on impulse and stuck in the back of the cupboard after using it a few times?

My favourite toy is my Nespresso coffee maker.
My favourite gadget is my wine decanter filter thingy - I have a heap of old wines with lots of sediment, this thing "airs" the wine while catching all the bits you dont want in your glass.

If you go to the Good Guys or Harvey Norman, they sell Map coofee and Belgium hot chocolate pods which fit the Expressi (please pass this info onto TP as I know she has one but wont be able to read this )stui magpie wrote:Wine doesn't have a chance to get old at my place
I did buy an Expressi machine last weekend. Quite like it Make a coffee faster than boiling the kettle in the morning and only costed $90.

I'll pass on the hot chocolate but I'll keep the Map coffee in mind.

I've heard of people trying to make the nespresso ones fit!
Thanks for the info
At Christmas Aldi had an 18 variety pack, shame they don't have them now.
P's Stui, when ever you see the strong ones, buy a heap, they are sold out all the time at all three Aldi's around here, guessing it's common.

I tend to toss stuff that's useless, not much of a hoarder!
Received as presents and tossed after respectable time: donut maker, choc fountain, fairy floss maker, various weird kitchen choppers.
The one thing no one has given me is a foot spa!
