eddie's piece on what i preesume is his breakfast show (clip copied below) is an excellent summation of what has talen place and i see nothing even remotely controversial in what he said. I thnk he was entitled to say it as well. I also think Mick is neittled to say whatever he likes now that he isnt ffiliated with Collingwood anymore and owes his television network and other constituencies a bit of controversy to raise his own image.

Its a shame the media makes ex-coaches sell themselves out in order to generate publicity and sadly it tarnishes legacies for those coaches. Mick has done himself a lot of harm here.

With that said, I am an out and out MM fan who defended him through years and years of criticism (and i am very confused, but the same people who criticized MM then seem to be the same ones who are now criticizing Nathan Buckley - or am i missing something here?). I am also very high on nathan Buckley and think he will be a terrific coach so long as he learns to reach the non-obsessed players in the team. That is the one question mark, because he couldnt really do it as a captain.
