Yep its all lined up. Work is sending me to Sydney on Friday (coincidence? yeah sure! I have ignored the problems up there until a more convenient time, like round 4 of the AFL season) and thought I might as well organise a couple of tickets to the SCG on Saturday night (my brother, a fellow devotee, lives up there).
I am going to be in the Walters stand. I will be wearing the unofficial "last game at Vic park" T-shirt and plan to introduce Sydney to what real barracking is about.
Although this variation to a well know little ditty may get me into trouble,
"There's only one Tony Lockett,
There's only one Tony Lockett,
With his packets of sweets,
And his cheecky smile,
Lockett is a bleeding pedophile!"
Onwards to Sydney!
Does anyone know where the cheer squad is sitting. I know the club is sending them up in a bus(es).
I'm going to the SCG on Saturday.
