Not too sure if many posters here remember Kevin Grose who played 30 odd games for Collingwod in 1975/6.

Very sadly he suffered a sudden heart attack and passed away yesterday while enjoing a holiday in Thailand.

May he Rest In Peace.

Was having a beer with Grosey a few months ago.

So sad. Way too young.

He inspired my Aunty and I to get our first tattoos.

A real hard man. Him and Mick Warren were Reserves heroes of mine for years.

Tatts and hard at the ball.

In Gods care. RIP Grosey..

I've never heard of him, but nevertheless it's extremely sad news. Condolences to his family.

I looked him up on Wikipedia, and it states that he played 32 games for the club between 1975-1977 and he kicked 10 goals during that time. Apparently he was a half-back flanker and he was from Reservoir.

Also I think known as "picture gallery"for his Tatts. A courageous and tough player. I remember watching him. I thought that he came from West Heidelberg rather than Reservoir but maybe my memory is letting me down. I'm sad to hear of his passing.

Grosey started at Reservoir Old Boys in the Amateurs before moving to Collingwood where he played 32 games.

After Colingwood he Captained/Coached North Heidelberg to a Premiership in 1978 and became a Legend in the Diamond Valley Football League.

Thanks Macdaicos, North Heidelberg is part of the old suburb of West Heidelberg (before they started renaming bits Heidelberg Heights and Bellfield) and I think I confused Grose's pre and post Magpie careers.
