The ALF commission has gone to cover as the fiasco over Colonial stadium continues. But have they ...
Richard Colless (Swans chairman) has got his face in the paper warning us about "political eruptions".
Not are only the Swans completed unaffected by the Colostomy debacle (remember the AFL just changed the law so interstate teams do not have to rely on away gate takings, they just get to play there own home games at their own stadiums and make buckets of money) I will even allege that it is just an attempt to draw attention from the enormity of the blunders the AFL commission has made. You just have to wonder who has been talking to who behind closed doors. I wonder if an examination of emails, and mobile phone transcripts would shed some light.
And why do I think this? Sydney owe the AFL heaps for bundling it out trouble before, and may need them to do it again (soon).
The whole commission should resign. What happened to accountability?
These people have been paid a fortune to look after the interests of the game. How does signing 20 year deals that do not last one year look after the interest of the game? They can not even use ignorance as an excuse, as they had to pay, and still are paying for, the previous AFL administration's 20 year deals.
There should be a state government enquiry!!! Commissioners should be responsible for any financial loses their negligence or lack of due care has caused the AFL. Rip asunder the veil (Howzat that, Magpie Greg?)
Sydney chairman is an AFL stooge.
