When they are taken young, it hurts that much more. Rest in peace Dean Bailey, a tragic loss to coaching in general, and for the future stars who will not get to be mentored by him.

Absolutely shocking news.
I got to know Dean very well when he coached my mate Liam Jurrah - whose career virtually ended the day they sacked Dean Bailey. Bails was an absolute gentleman and a wonderful human being.
It's no coincidence that the Demons went into freefall after they sacked him. They won 8 games in his last year coaching them and they haven't managed to win half that amount in either of the 2 years since.
RIP Bails.
