Does anybody think the Pies are considering Frawley or not?

Well there was talk last month that he has agreed to play for Collingwood but some People say we have not enough money in the Salary Cap

We don't need him, we have an awesome list.

I think he offers something, we still have back half issues with such a young list.

Pies now interested in Jack Watts, that surely is a rumour. I keep reading Mullett from North on our radar as well. Once again we are going to be connected to everybody in 2015

If Frawley was happy to take $300-400K a year maybe but he's not good enough to be among the top few paid players at the Pies. Doesn't offer anything more than Frost, Keeffe and Brown.

Melbourne aren't even interested in Watts.

No chance we are.

The one from Melbourne I'd like the most is Roos
I'd take Frawley for $500 k max
I'd take Watts for 8m Stanley fat max.

Watts is actually the kind of player who would be quite good in a good side. He's icing, not cake and he's playing for a team with no cake.

Would be handy for the bigger bodied players such as Hawkins, just in case Browny (touch wood) gets injured again. Frost and Keeffe simply can't out muscle him, and for reasons I don't think we need to go into.. Reid probably isn't the best match up for him either.

Am a bit worried he'll be out of form as a defender though. Has been played as a forward the whole year to minimize the blow for when he leaves, and might be a bit rusty going back again. Been a while since he's put in a pretty good season in defense.

I don't think Frawley is a great player but structurally he'll be handy and he's versatile in the sense that he can play in both defence and forward when the need arises.

However what Frawley and his manager are demanding in terms of the amount he wants is outrageous in nature and I wouldn't be go nearing him unless he's more reasonable with his wage demands.

Well we've heard that Collingwood and Frawley have come to an agreement as far back as June. I think it was for 150k less a year (from what he was asking), but for 1 year longer, or something like that.

Who knows how true that is as it probably came from SEN.

I'd like to get him, but yeah the price has to be right. And I'm sure there's other (and possibly better) players we'll be able to get first.

We should find out what the compensation will be later today or tomorrow.

It affects trading so the AFL needs to move quickly.

Only finished 8th in best and fairest count.

Played 21 games.

Doesn't warrant pick 3 as compensation.
