It was interesting to see some new headgear in the Cheer Squad apart from Joffa's Gold Hair. I thought the gold teacosy was very effective.

I hope you're not referring to my sparkly gold beret/shower-cap/whatever-the-hell-it-is.
That's my "winner's beret".

It's great to see the gold head-gear coming out when the game is well-and-truly won. I think Joffa and Leslie have really started something here. Every week there seems to be more and more people wearing gold hats/wigs/whatever.

The important thing to remember is that the gold headgear only goes on when the game is sewn up beyond all doubt.

Actually, I thought Joffa put the wig on a little too early this week. I think it was only a few minutes into the 3rd quarter and the Weagles weren't completely dead and buried at that stage.

Careful, Joffa. It might come back to bite you on the bum one day.

I'm not sure about that gold teacosy/beret/shower-cap/whatever-the-hell-it-is. Some people really like it and other people have told me to "lose it". After the game the other night a young girl came up to me and gave me the gold crown that she'd been wearing. I'm wondering if that was her way of saying "That thing you're wearing really sucks. Wear this instead."
