Boomer Harvey get suspended and will miss next week
Well hello !! If your act is deemed bad enough for suspension thats the system
Why do the Darcy, s and Richo, s bleat the words "No way should he miss a final"
A head clash has resulted in suspension this year so no player is sbove the
law so to speak
Boomer only just came back from suspension
These bleeding hearts were, nt around in 77 to "get " Carman off

agree in principle, but Boomer hardly touched him. one week for that is a joke.

I wonder how many weeks it would've been if those stripes were black instead of blue?

Agree not a lot in it but duty of care & head contact is dynamite
North will challenge it so Boomer still could play as long as his wrap
sheet / point deficit work against him
Hope North do well

Exactly, just ask Pebbles & Phil.
Harvey is a serial offender & he deserves to miss.

I agree, the incident isn't even worthy of the time that will be wasted in tribunal.

Same rules should apply during finals as for Home and Away rounds... however I thought the contact was a joke and the case should have been thrown out.
Poor decision if he is in the blue and white stripes or black and white!

Any player that can physically clash with Selwood and avoid his head is a friggin genius. He's the biggest bloody ducker in the AFL and his head opens and bleeds if you so much as breath on him. Don't like either of them but I hope he gets off and I reckon he will.

Accidental head on head contact.
You shouldn't miss a final because of that.

Or any game for that matter...

The accidental head on head contact rule is a joke. I can understand shoulder on head; arm on head; fist on head; but unless it's a deliberate head butt then it should be throw out - no case to answer.
There was more in Hawkins' jumper punch last week that this action, yet one is a suspension and one isn't.

I agree, but that is the rule.
The rule needs to be changed, so that incidental head to head contact does not attract a penalty. If he'd collected Selwood with his shoulder or elbow, even accidentally, then I'd be in favour of a suspension, but not when it's a clash of heads. Seriously, Selwood is a sook and a lagger. Just hope he doesn't win the bloody brownlow.
