Are we going after Higgins?

Post by 35forever »

Shun Higgins has left Footscray, and two clubs, one unnamed, are after him. Please tell me we're the unnamed club. I'm getting rather crapped off with all the players who are looking for new clubs and no mention of Collingwood as a possible destination. Ryder, Mitch Clark, Danny Frawley, Dangerfield, are apparently all not considering Collingwood, and in the interests of nicety I won't even say a word about who's fault this may or may not be, just tell me what is going on? Everyone used to want to come to Collingwood, and even if they didn't we were always named as being the evil ones trying to snatch players up. What happened? And most of all, are we talking to Higgins?

Definitely worth a look. We would be keen, but would he?

i heard that "Picking up dog scraps should not be what this club is about."

If they wanted him there why would he be leaving?

Says he wants a 'fresh start' CC, but that usually means 'wants-a-club-with-a-snowball's-hope-of-playing-finals', so that lets us out, he's 26-27 I think so he won't see much action at Collingwood.

Oh christ! Is EVERYONE going to North!? Surely we are making SOME attempt? We'll be right out of mids if anything happens to Pendles and Steelo!

Danny Frawley, wouldn't think there would be much interest from us. Although he was an assistant coach with us.

Higgins hope not, just adds to our injury list.

No interest in Missy.

No thanks, too much of an outside player for mine and too injury prone - weird combination I know.

He is the softest player in the AFL.

Gets an eyelash in his eye and nek minnit he's got the red vest on.

Mitch Clark spent two days at the club. Whether he ends up here or not your whinge presented its own contradictory evidence.
