Sponsorship of the Magpie Mail Banner Competition has been picked up for 3 weeks at a time by two sponsors who have come forward to take the pressure off, perhaps there are some others out there.
The sponsors are members of this Bulletin Board and prefer to remain anonymous.
Anonymity is not a condition of sponsorship, so if you have a business or product that you would like to associate with this competition please put your hand up. The competition would then become know as the XXXXXXX Magpie Mail Banner Competition.
The competition, which was first suggested by another anonymous member of the BB, is run to support the tireless efforts of the Cheer Squad (and particularly cobood) to keep this Club at the top of the supporter tree. The competition is not high exposure and couldn't be considered as prime advertising, but its results sometimes are - banners with slogans from this site displayed in front of anything from 40 to 90 thousand people at the grounds and hundreds of thousands of tv viewers. Where else can you get that sort of result for $10 / week.
