Didnt realise we have pick 3 in the PSD.

Any whispers as to whether we'll use it and if so on who?

Only teams who haven't filled their 40 senior player quota are able to access the PSD. We've only got 39 at the moment but as Dave says, we've apparently commited to Frost being a nominated rookie so won't use the PSD option.

According to Hines, on the CFC website, we'll be selecting 2 players in the PSD, with our 3rd pick being used to re-rookie Armstrong. He more or less said that we'd be looking at more flexible/midfield types like we selected in the national draft. He said that Frost will be promoted off the rookie list in March.

So we will have a live pick in the PSD tomr??

There are some reasonable players floating around so would be interesting to see who he has in mind

The PSD is basically a dead draft now with free agency.

Anyway, bring on the RD tomorrow.

Pick 3 in the PSD used to be gold, now it's passed. Only 1 pick was used at all by any club.

With delisted free agency it's just not needed anymore.

Here are some interesting stats about the pre-season draft and how it's become an irrelevant and obscure draft since 2012. Amazing to see how relevant it was between 2005-2011. I didn't check any data before 2005 by the way.

2015 Pre-Season Draft - 1 selection used (9 selections in total) = 11.11%
2014 Pre-Season Draft - 1 selection used (12 selections in total) = 8.33%
2013 Pre-Season Draft - 8 selections used (17 selections in total) = 47.06%
2012 Pre-Season Draft - 5 selections used (11 selections in total) = 45.45%
2011 Pre-Season Draft - 6 selections used (6 selections in total) = 100%
2010 Pre-Season Draft - 7 selections used (7 selections in total) = 100%
2009 Pre-Season Draft - 6 selections used (6 selections in total) = 100%
2008 Pre-Season Draft - 8 selections used (8 selections in total) = 100%
2007 Pre-Season Draft - 9 selections used (9 selections in total) = 100%
2006 Pre-Season Draft - 10 selections used (10 selections in total) = 100%
2005 Pre-Season Draft - 7 selections used (8 selections in total) = 87.50%
