Crowd at the G tonight

They are saying 95,000..... Please! Give me a break. A few sections empty. Have a look at it. Putting a bit of spin on that.

Actually it just looks like one empty bay between the Ponny and the MCC members. Everything else looks quite full.

Amazing. No more proof needed that Melbourne is the sporting capital of Australia. They couldn't even fill the Sydney Olympic Stadium for the last Origin match.

Maybe because it was a neutral venue (although it seemed from TV there was a NSW bias). Given it hadn't been in Melbourne for 21 years it was probably an opportunity by many NSW and QLD supporters to travel to Melbourne. I dare say a hefty part of the crowd would have been interstate fans.

It was actually a decent game. I gave up watching league years ago. But I tuned in last night and it was quite free flowing compared to some of the boring grind-fests. It was almost like the referees were told to try and keep it flowing.

Some very controversial try/no try rulings. Here in QLD I am sure there will be plenty of claims of it being rigged. And I wouldn't be totally surprised.

Poor form by those who couldn't observe the silence for Ron Clarke. Never seen such disrespect.

Ferals who can never be tamed.............
Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!
