Meltdown averted!

Well done Pies for getting back in the Winners Circle.

Ben Reid 4.1 returning from injury and in his 100th! Fasolo can kick goals again!

Frustrating towards the end... nearly gave it away.

And serious the scumpires. Tried everything in their power to give the game to Blues.

Reid didn't snap into 7 pieces. That's a bonus.

that was terrible. I know we are young and it is about the future and all that crap, but watching that was like jamming pins in my eyeballs. Don't know how good our future is going to be, all these kids have a shyte load of improvement to take on board and it is no guarantee that will be realised. We may be a lowly side for many years. At least our goal kicking accuracy was good, save for a couple of shockers, if we were bad in that stat this game could have been another disaster. All in all we are a very ordinary side.

Well, those of you who would have kept Reid in the reserves today, all wrapped up in cotton wool; do we still win today?
Where did Varcoe vanish after he gave away Fasolo's 5th goal, and slaughtered our momentum in the 3rd quarter?
Was it really such a great win?
Defeating Carlton minus Judd and Gibbs, by three goals.
Hope we get Yarran in 2016.
Wish I could say it gives me confidence going into next week, but nah...

Buckley's coaching career was three goals away from oblivion.

That was painful....but a win's a win.

Blair good on his return.
Marsh, an excellent debut.
Pendles and Swanny awesome.
Fasolo very good.
....and Reid got thru unscathed.

happy.

P.S. Dear Trav Varcoe, love your hardness this year. It has been excellent, as have your skills....But please don't give away a 50 when we are having a shot on goal. It killed all of our momentum.

6 in a row against the Blues now.

Only 3 Behind in all time record.

Year not a total waste. Beat the blues twice, so that is always a good year.

As for the game itself, not much to write home about.

Agree with all, Those Maggots really  Had to switch Watson off, cant stand his commentating!!
I get the feeling against Cruzer, Witts would have been the better option. Grundy probably learned a lot but he isn't match for Cruzer. The Scum really came to play. Next year lets make it 7 in a Row!!!

Great to finally have a win.

Though we made beating the worst side in the comp look like very hard work. Ball use still a Massive Worry.

Scumps where a total and utter Joke/Farce. Should not ump another game at AFL level again.

Jason Schmidt showed again why he is the Worst Scump in the AFL. How he umped 300 games is a Joke

mudlark wrote:Jeezus Ferkin hell.WTF was that?? What a disgusting game of football. How many basic errors can a team make?? Frost ???GO!!! put Reid back where he won AA piss Frost off and someone,ANYONE tell Langdon,he is NOT as good as Pendelbury and he needs to be aware of who is around him. WHY???? do we handball backwards??? Can anyone tell me? Carlscom have lost there last 2 by over 30 goals and we just pipped them. Sad outlook I'm afraid.
Couldn't agree more. And subbing Adams? We needed him in and under. Thought others were more deserving on the vest. Really struggling to believe the current coaching staff can get the best out of this playing group. Surely Tapping needs to be promoted and the likes of hart and harvey moved on.

Adams was injured, apparently. That would explain why he only had 10 disposals, too.
