MY first game of the season, ionly have a three game membership. Look, I don't really think we can win this one, but so long as we have a real dip, and redhot go, I will be more than satisfied. If we win, I'm gonna do a Lou Richards dare, I will stroll down main st in Mt Evelyn, buff naked. !

In : Reid, Cloke
Out : Toovey, Cox (inj).

From the way Cox's hand was bunged up on the video, and his tentativeness in using it in the last quarter, i think they might give him a week to heal. hopefully it is not necessary, because i thought he gave the boys upfield a lot of confidence as a target, and he is getting better most weeks. If he does not come up, then let's bring Trav (the Revenant) back as a CHF.

I have the feeling that one day soon Moore is going to take a game by the scruff of the neck, and become very hard for any defence to control with his agility and courage and marking power. I saw signs of this in the Richmond game, and i hope this week might be it. We're going to need everything to go right, but at least there is hope after yesterday. I think they remembered what it takes, yesterday - first to the ball, no fear, head down into packs, and run. If we do that again, and the Treloar/Adams/Pendlebury axis can counter Geelong's midfield, we can win.

I'd like to see Reid or Brown back in to have any hope. Bring that same 4qtr intensity back to Melbourne and ya just never know.

The cats are always hard to beat but nothing is impossible
Changes will be injuries only and Reid to come back in if fit.
If Cox misses I would play both Witts & Grundy stand Grundy in the goal square and let him ruck in our attacking 50
Moore could be a handful for these guys they don't have any overly quick big defenders but have a lot of good experienced ones.
Whites pace could be hard for them to handle as well if he shows up in the same manner he did last night.
Don't think we can tag both Selwood and Dangerfield so I would go to Dangerfield and a bit left centre I would give DeGoey first crack at him then Crisp. We need someone who can cover ground with him. If Scott sends him fired like he does often send Maynard to him
We need to put him on the turf as often as possible
Frost gets Hawkins leave Reid or Toovey free to play intercept mark
Look our best if good enough we've seen it in glimpses but not often enough.
I'm actually a bit bullish about this one. They went to Adelaide this week and played a pretty tough game against a good team and we're obviously up for Danger so maybe they will be a bit off the boil this week. If they are we could pounce.
We need to show the same effort and desire as we did last night especially the first half. Do that and who knows.
If big Cox does play he could have a night out. I'm talking 6+ he just has the look as if hey Im liking this and the boys seem to be finding/targeting him more now
