Rumours????

I've heard some rumours, that Collingwood is really going to go after some big guns from other teams soon...end of year etc. I've heard Matt Lloyd come up a couple of times. Who knows if these will come true, but it would be good if it did. Anyone else heard these rumours..?

Joel, I've heard this stuff too, I think its based on the fact that we are a chance to have first draft pick and possibly second (though the Dockers may have something to say about that) and it is a good year to be on the bottom as there are some big names coming out of contract. Corey McKernan is the other name floating around. I reckon he is a bigger chance ot become a magpie. His form has been indifferent the last few years, mostly because of injury and he is just what we need - a big guy who can play in the ruck and kick goals. I reckon Eddie will have the cheque already made out to him....it'll be a matter of fitting him under the cap.
