I personally prefer the approach that everyone should be considered innocent until proven guilty and that just making allegations against a person and any resulting trial by media shouldn't change that, regardless of the gender of the persons involved.
Unfortunately, people choose to believe innuendo and allegations that suit or fit their personal biases and dismiss those that don't.

Sure, not in Trudeau's case (yet). But I'm old enough to remember Gloria Steinem's infamous NYTs opinion piece where she basically excused Clinton's behaviour whilst victim-bashing his accusers.
